Revlon “Girly” – Review

Good evening, or morning, or afternoon! ๐Ÿ™‚

When I did my nails on Saturday, this was not the initial plan. The plan was to do some Valentine nail art but it ended up being a horrible fail. Since I didn’t have enough time to try again I went on to plan B: Revlon Girly. I figured the colours are good for the theme, and the glitters, well, glitters are always good.

This polish is a pink jelly base with big and small glitters in purple, fuschia and pink.

I put 3 coats of Girly and 3 layers of top coat (glitters are always so hungry for top coat).

I’m not quite sure how to describe the pink jelly, but it almost feels like a dirty pink. Do you see what I mean?

I’m not really liking this one with my skin tone, but I will try it layered over other colours.

What do you think? Have you tried it?

  • Chantaaaaallll, your photos are always so amazing. I am still so drawn to it when I see bottle porn of it. It looks SO good in theory!… I don't think it looks bad against your skintone but I totally see how you think the jelly base is a "dirty colour". I want to love this polish, LOL.

    • Thanks Melissa! ๐Ÿ˜€
I really want to like this one as well, it has everything I like: pink and glitters. But for some reason the end result just does not do it for me. Hopefully layered over a base colour will help.

  • Great photos! I think I neeeeed Girly. That glitter mix is so pretty. I agree with you about the 'dirty' tone of the pink though. It would probably look great over a lighter base hmmmm…

    • Thanks Brittney! ๐Ÿ™‚
Yes I think if you put a pink as the base it would help give this polish a better tone. This is definitely something that I will try because I really want to like this one, but as it is by itself I don't really.
