Revlon “Dreamer” – Swatches and Review

Today I have Revlon Dreamer for you, a nice blue. This is the base colour I used for my Snowman Nail Art back in February, I took these pictures before I did the art.

This polish is on the thin side, I needed 3 coats for full opacity and I went thick with my 3rd coat because I didn’t want to have to put a 4th one.

The brush is round and regular size.

This polish by itself dries to a dull finish and the colour gets a bit greyed out – not like what you see in the bottle. Adding a top coat brings out the nice blue that you expect this to be.

These pictures are all with my favourite top coat Nubar Diamont.

I was disappointed at first by the dullness of this polish, but the top coat saved the day. I find it’s a nice blue, kind of a mix between sky/baby/pastel blue. I’m also not a big fan of polishes that take 3 coats for full opacity, but I really like the colour.

What is your favourite blue in this shade?

  • Oooh lovely!

  • I find Revlon to take the cake in sh*tty nail polish. Always 3 coats for full coverage, formula is always patchy, very slow drying. Ugh. So terrible! But you sure made this look good! If I didn't know it was Revlon, I would have gone for it! Such a trickster! ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • Thanks Melissa! ๐Ÿ˜€
I don't have many Revlons, and this is the second one I try after Girly, so not much luck so far. Well at least this one looks nice once done. ๐Ÿ™‚ I have another one that I will try soon, we'll see how it compares.
