Skinfood Tomato Jelly Lip Tint in Berry – Review

Good evening!

When I started my research on BB Creams last fall I discovered Korean cosmetics brands and I’ve been slowly developing an obsession with them. And when I saw this product on Sally’s blog, Sally Sayz, I just had to try it out. This is Skinfood Tomato Jelly Lip Tint.

This lip tint comes in 3 colours: #1 Cherry, #2 Berry, and #3 Orange. This one is #2 Berry.

This product feels like a lip balm, but it has more staying power; it lasts longer than any lip balm I’ve used. And the colour stays well after the lip balm moistness has gone too. It is a lip tint after all. πŸ™‚

This colour is a pretty pop of pink, and it is quite pink. In the picture below I did 2 passes on my lips.

This also smells really good, like berries. But it’s not strong though, it’s just a hint of smell and quite pleasant.

I have nothing bad to say about this product, I love it! So much so that I went and ordered the Cherry colour.

I paid $6 (CAD) on ebay for this product, with free shipping.

What is your latest lip product love?

  • I don't have any lip product love lately but I've been so into peel off masks. I won't shut up about them to my friends – I continuously tweet about them from both my nail blog Twitter and my personal Twitter – gah can't get enough! Recently discovered Daiso's Nose Pack and it's a peel off pore strip for the nose. SO GOOD, WHERE HAS IT BEEN ALL MY LIFE?!

    • I just went and googled Daiso Nose Pack and I think I'm going to have to get me some of that! I use the BiorΓ© Pore Strips and although I find they work good, they don't quite contour the nose all that well.
Who knows, you might just see a review of Daiso Nose Pack in the future…! πŸ™‚
      Where do you get yours?

    • I actually got mine from Daiso! Luckily I live close to the only one in Canada LOL, but you can find it on eBay. I really could just pick one up for you and mail it. I love it so much – even my brother endorses it! (I still don't get notifications when I get comments back to my replies, waaaah~~~)

    • Hmm, did you click on "Subscribe by email" below the comments box? Maybe I should look into a different comment widget… I know a lot of people use Disqus.

If shipping in Canada wasn't so expensive I'd take you up on that offer! I did see some on ebay for not too much, around $4-5 so I'll order there. πŸ™‚

    • OH I SEE IT! I totally clicked on it! I hope it works. I never noticed that before. I hope it does it for all the comments I leave, but maybe I have to do it for each post? We'll see how this goes. Thanks for the tip lady! πŸ™‚

Let me know if you want me to pick it up! It retails for $2 here but man it's worth it. I love how you can have a peel off pore strip that basically contours your nose shape, rather than trying to pat down a predetermined shape. I hope you like it – would love to hear your thoughts!

    • Yes unfortunately you have to click it for every post that you reply on. :-/

I'll be ordering some Daiso Nose Pack this weekend, I can't wait to try it out!! πŸ™‚

  • Great review! I am loving your pictures, such good quality pics! It looks so cute on you πŸ™‚

    • Thank you Sally! πŸ˜€
This is all thanks to your post! πŸ™‚

  • Oh that's cute, where do you get your asian cosmetic/skincare?

    • Thanks Jasmine! πŸ˜€
I research a few places before I buy anything. I have a few sites that I look at: ebay.ca, KollectionK.com, RoseRoseShop.com, Amazon.com. I look at them all and compare prices. Then for example on KollectionK I might look at other things I'd want so I can split the shipping cost between items.
