Monthly Empties: May 2013

Hi readers!

I hope you’re having a great weekend! Ours is quite relaxing, and tomorrow we’re going to see Iron Man 3 with some friends, I can’t wait!

Another month has gone by so it’s time for another post of Monthly Empties! There are a lot of repeats from last month because some products I just use all the time, and there are few new ones. So let’s take a look…

You can see the sides of my light box, hee hee! 🙂

Once again I separated the products by body, face and hair.

Aveeno – Daily Moisturizing Lotion
The first repeat from last month, and one you’re not done seeing this one. This is my #1 product of all time. I usually buy the bigger bottles with a pump, but these were on sale last time I went so I grabbed a few.
Repurchase? Yes! I always do and I always have backups.
Bath and Body Works – Anti-Bacterial Deep Cleansing Hand Soap in Creamy Pumpkin
Another repeat item, and another one you’ll see often. I have these soaps in all our washrooms. You’ll rarely see the same scent twice though as I always like to try the new ones they come out with. This one I absolutely loved! I always get some type of pumpkin spice in the fall.
Repurchase? Yes! I always do and I always have backups – in different scents.
Bath and Body Works – Shower Gel in Wild Peach Poppies
Yes another repeat and another one you’ll see often. This is the only body wash that I buy, but always in new scents (like the hand soaps).
Repurchase? Yes! I always do and I always have backups – in different scents.
Burt’s Bees – Naturally Nourishing Milk & Honey Body Lotion
This is a product I received in my January GLOSSYBOX. I already did a full review on this product so I’ll keep this one short: it works well but I’m not a fan of the smell.
Purchase? No.
Fruits & Passion – Cucina Regenerating Hand Cream in Lime Zest and Cypress
This hand cream I keep next to the kitchen sink. I use all Cucina products in the kitchen and I love the smell of the Lime Zest and Cypress line. I really like this hand cream and I find it works quite well.
Repurchase? Yes… well I thought I did but I got the Nourishing Hand Butter instead – same scent.

Shiseido – Facial Cotton
This is another item you’ll see often. I use 5 a day: 1 in the morning for my toner, 1 per eye in the evening to remove makeup, 1 on my face to remove a bit of makeup before using my Clarisonic, and then 1 after cleaning for my toner. So I go through them a bit fast, but they’re just sooooo soft!
Repurchase? Yes! I always do.
Shiseido – Pureness Matifying Moisturizer Oil-Free
This is my… 3rd one in a row I believe. It works well, but I think it might not be moisturizing enough for me. I always thought I had oily skin, but I think it’s more combination. I think it gets so oily because I don’t moisturize enough and it’s overcompensating for the lack of moisture.
Repurchase? No, there’s a better product for me out there.

Tigi – Bed Head Colour Goddess Shampoo
Therapy for racy read heads and bodacious brunettes. This is the product I used before switching to Redken All Soft. It smells like sweet caramel, and I mean really sweet caramel. This product replaced the one I used before which was Tigi Bed Head Brunette Goddess which I looooved! That one smelled like chocolate toffee, sooo yummy! But they combined the brunette and red head ones together into this one. It was okay, but I now prefer my Redken All Soft. It also comes with a pump, but I chopped it off in the picture because it was too tall. 🙂
Repurchase? No.
Tigi – Catwalk Curlesque Curls Rock Amplifier
This is my favourite hair defining cream, I use it every day. It gives a mousse-like finish, but I find it’s not as crunchy as a mousse, and it lasts all day long. If you want to see what my hair looks like with this, I have a picture of this product in another product review. I love it!
Repurchase? Yes, I always do.

Have you tried any of these products?
