Today I’m sharing with you my experience with Etude House I Need You Aloe! Mask Sheet.
I first discovered these types of face masks after I received a couple as free samples with an order of Korean beauty products. After that I did some research on them and ordered a few with my next order. This is one that I ordered.
There is one mask sheet per package, and it is soaking in the “essence”, as they call it.
I chose the Aloe mask because it is meant to prevent acne and soothe skin.
I’m not quite sure what the mask is made of, but it feels like a face wipe. It’s oval shaped with holes for your eyes, nose and mouth. I couldn’t help but goof off while taking pictures so this is what you get, my mummy impersonation! :p
I guess I have a long nose, tee-hee! 🙂
The mask feels very cooling and soothing when you put it on. The smell is quite pleasant as well and very mild, just like fresh aloe.
Since it says to leave it on for 15-20 minutes, I was putting things away and walking around while I waited. Doing that keeps a cool feeling on the mask (from the air movement) and I really liked that. If you prefer to have it feel warm, just lie down and relax while you wait.
Once I took off the mask I massaged the solution into my skin. I didn’t wait until it was fully absorbed though, I let the rest absorb by itself. My face felt a bit sticky until it was fully absorbed, but I did not mind. This is something I do at night anyway so it’s not like I’m putting on makeup or going out.
You do not need to add moisturizer after the mask since the essence moisturizes you.
When I wake up in the morning my face is always a grease ball, but the morning after using this mask my face was not as oily as usual, which I was happily surprised with.
The one thing I did not do with this one that I will do with my next
mask is save the container because it has essence left in it. Next time I will use it as my night cream for the following night.
Repurchase? OH YES!
Have you tried face masks like this?
