Skinfood Argan Oil Silk Hair Mask Pack – Review

Hi readers!

Today I have a review on Skinfood Argan Oil Silk Hair Mask Pack that I received as a free sample in an online order from Amazon.

I like to treat my hair with a deep conditioner once a week and I was happy to receive this sample since I am looking for a new one.

This product is described as a hair mask pack that contains nourishing argan oil and silk to transform dry, damaged hair into healthy shiny tresses.

To use, it says to: after shampooing, remove excess water and apply to damp hair. Leave on for 5 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water.

Alright, so how did this product work out for me…

Detangling Powers

I did not find that it detangled my hair any better than my regular conditioner. My hair doesn’t usually get crazy tangled anyway, but it felt the same as it normally does.

Hair Smoothness

You know that extra silky smooth feeling that your hair gets right after you rinse out a deep conditioner? I did not get this here, it felt the same as with my regular conditioner. Maybe if you have dry and damaged hair you will notice a difference (since this product is meant for that hair type), but I did not. However, once I dried my hair my waves did seem a bit more relaxed than usual. That is the only difference I noticed.

The Smell

I find it smells like roses, like that granny rosy smell. I’m not a fan of it. It also lasted for a few days (I wash my hair daily). My regular shampoo and conditioner have very faint smells, so if you use products have have stronger smells it might get rid of this smell faster.

Bottom Line

As I mentioned above, this product might work well if you have dry and damaged hair. But I don’t and I didn’t see any difference from my regular daily conditioner, except for somewhat more relaxed waves after drying my hair.

I will not buy this product.

Have you tried this one? Do you use a deep conditioner that you recommend?
