Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter – Review

Hi readers!

Today I’m sharing with you my first try of the Soap & Glory brand and it’s with their The Righteous Butter.

I got this free sample with an online order from Sephora. Let’s see what I thought of it…

Texture

It is a butter so it is heavier than a lotion, and it’s white.

Absorbency

I don’t have dry skin so my body did not absorb it as much as dry skin might, so it did leave a bit of a greasy feeling on my skin. It eventually soaks in though and my skin was nice and smooth afterwards.

Effectiveness

I applied this butter after showering in the morning and it kept my skin smooth and hydrated until my shower the next morning.

Smell

This smells really good, like soap. I found I smelled clean all day long. Not that I usually don’t, lol! But the smell of soap just has this freshly clean feel to it, know what I mean? 🙂

Bottom Line

It would probably be good for for someone with dry skin, or in the winter, or as a weekly deep moisturizing treatment kind of thing.

Will I purchase? I probably will for the winter. I really liked the smell and my skin tends to be dryer in the winter.

This product retails for $18 (CAD).

Sephora carries Soap & Glory, but their selection seems to be limited. Shoppers Drug Mart and Murale also carry this brand.

Have you tried this body butter, or other products from Soap & Glory?
