Etude House ”Cool Mint Pop” (CGR705) – Swatches and Review

Allo tout le monde!

Today I’m sharing a polish that I wore a few weeks ago. This polish is from Etude House‘s Color Pop collection and is named Cool Mint Pop (CGR705).

This colour is definitely a weakness of mine and I’m always attracted to these shades, so when I saw this one I just could not resist.

The brush is wide and thin, just like I love them.

This polish was very streaky and patchy on the first coat, but I put a medium thick second coat and it was fully opaque. The finish was a bit uneven, but adding a coat of Butter London Hardwear P.D. Quick Top Coat fixed that.

I absolutely love this colour!!! And the bottle is cute too! 🙂

Here’s a DAVIDsTEA comparison for my gurl Melissa. I did not think it was close at all, but once I held the bag in my hand I thought “damn, this is almost it!” It’s a shade paler than the bag, but definitely in the right colour family.

Even though the formula is a bit patchy and uneven, it’s still opaque in 2 coats so I really can’t complain. And I always put topcoat, which fixed the uneven situation, so really once all is said and done, I LOVE IT! Seriously, this IS my colour!

I bought this for $2.63 + sh. (CAD) from KollectionK.com.

Is there a colour that you’re always drawn to?
