Sweet Polish ”Sweetheart” – Swatches and Review

Hi readers!

Today I’m showing you another polish from Sweet Polish by Amanda of Sweetheart Nail Art, and this one is called Sweetheart. This was the first polish created in celebration of the 3 year anniversary of Sweetheart Nail Art.

The mini bottles have a wide and thin brush, just like I love them.

This polish is described as a white jelly polish with small pastel glitters, black glitters, black shards, and light pink hearts. I got a heart on my index, yeah! And I love how it placed itself as well, seems like it was meant to go there. 🙂

Amanda recommends layering this polish over a white base so that’s what I did. I put one coat of A.co “White Out” and I followed with two coats of Sweetheart. I then added two coats of Gelous and one coat of Butter London Hardwear P.D. Quick Top Coat.

This was another formula that was a dream to work with. The base was just the right consistency; not too thin and not too thick. And I was able to do 5-6 swipes per nail (to help distribute the glitters) without any pulling at the cuticles, but at the same time the polish dried relatively fast.

Once again I wanted to see how this polish worked on its own, so on my thumb I did not put a white base and I put 4 layers of Sweetheart.

And now for the macro shot!

This is another awesome creation by Amanda, I love it! The colour combination is great and the black shards give it a funky vibe.

This polish in full size (15mL) sells for $7.60 (US) on her etsy shop. UPDATE: this shop is no longer on etsy.

You can also find her on her at: her blog, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr, Twitter, and Youtoube.

Once again thank you Amanda for sending me these polishes for review, they are both awesome!!!
