Kit ”First Kiss” – Swatches and Review – plus Sally Hansen ”Glass Slipper”

Hi readers!

How’s your weekend going so far? I started playing Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn so I’ve been doing lots of online gaming lately! ๐Ÿ™‚

Today I’m sharing with you a polish that I wore over a month ago! You might have seen it on my Instagram when I did the #mynailsandmydrink tag… Zoรซ, this is it! ๐Ÿ™‚

The brush is wide and thin, just like I like them. But it’s not quite aligned with the square cap so it’s a bit awkward to hold. Speaking of the square cap, it’s also rubberized which I really like because you get a good grip on it.

This colour is a beautiful bright pink, but the formula is the kind that always looks streaky. The streaks are the kind that look dark because the finish is not even, but once you apply top coat it fixes everything.

I’m wearing 3 coats because of the phantom streaks, but 2 coats should be enough. I also don’t have top coat in these pictures. Since my light box has bright lights coming from 3 directions you cannot see the streaks in these pictures.

These types of streaks always freak me out so I added Sally Hansen “Glass Slipper” to hide the defects (in case there were any). So here it is with one coat of Glass Slipper plus one coat of Butter London Hardwear P.D. Quick Top Coat (or was it 2 coats… I can’t remember!).

And of course a macro shot! ๐Ÿ™‚

I don’t find that this glitter topper looks the best up close, but I love how it looks in real live. You don’t usually look at someone’s nails this close anyway, so let’s take a look at that Instagram picture again.

See? Beautiful! ๐Ÿ™‚

The brand Kit is exclusive to Rexall and last I checked these retailed for $6.99 each.

Do you know what I mean about the phantom streaks?
