Wet n Wild Fantasy Makers 2013 ”Darkest Hour” – Swatches and Review

Evening everyone!

I was looking forward to seeing what Fantasy Makers (by Wet n Wild) would release for their 2013 collection, but I have to admit that I was a bit disappointed. I still picked them up because they are only $3 (CAD) at Shoppers Drug Mart, but the glow in the dark one I already had from last year so I didn’t buy it.

Tonight I’m showing you Darkest Hour, a plain black polish.

The brushes on these bottles are the typical round brushes. The cap is rectangle shape and I really like that because you get a good solid grip on it to apply the polish.

This polish required 2 coats for full opacity and has a waxy finish on its own. I did not put a top coat for these pictures so you can see its natural finish.

Don’t get me wrong, this is a great black polish and I highly recommend it if you’re in the market for one. The reason why I’m disappointed with this year’s collection is because last year had some glitter polishes and this year it’s just plain colours.

Did you buy this one? Have you seen this year’s collection? What do you think about it?
