I added a little snow effect to my blog, I hope you like it! 🙂
This week I received my December Ipsy Glam Bag! The theme for this month was Celebration: There’s always a reason to celebrate! Whether it’s buying your first car or welcoming your 2nd grandchild, there’s always a reason to get gorgeous and feel glamorous!
Once again I only took pictures of the products, I did not swatch any. If you saw yesterday’s post you know what I’m talking about. 🙂
$ Note: all prices are in US dollars. $
I really like the products I received this month and I’m looking forward to trying them all.
This month’s bag is very pretty and stylish. I don’t know how to describe that finish, but it’s black and shiny with a dotted square pattern kinda-thing, lol! And the inside is a beautiful deep red.
And now the products…
Starrily Nail Polish in Bzzz Bzzz – 0.17oz sample – $12 / 0.5oz
This nail polish is seriously all the buzz. Features a combo of yellow and black glitters in a clear base. No dibutyl phthalate, toluene, camphor or formaldehyde. Not tested on animals. For best results, use as a topcoat.
Nail polish, yeah!
Be a Bombshell The One Stick in Sunset – full size! – $16
An all-in-one multiple stick with a smooth texture. Apply to eyelids, cheeks or lips for the perfect pop of color anywhere!
Not sure about this colour on my eyes, but I’ll definitely try it on my lips! I would have preferred the colour “Girl Crush” as it’s more of a dusty pink and more my style over this red-orange colour, but we’ll see how this one goes.
POP Beauty Bright Up Your Life Eye Shadow Trio in Naturally Bare – 3 colour sample – $20 / 10 colour palette
This palette of hues adds definition & intensity to lids, creating a broad range of looks that complements all eye colours. From brightening bare to sultry smoke, these hues blend smoothly onto the lid, adding a veil of silky luster that will outlive the day or night!
I’m really glad I got this colour trio over the other one (white, silver/light grey, dark grey) since these colours are what I usually wear for my day-to-day look, so this kit will definitely be put to use.
J.Cat Beauty Big Lip Pencil in Caramel Mocha – full size! – $3.99
The Big Lip Pencil is a hydrating and vibrant lipstick as well as a sculpting lip liner. It’s destined to be in your makeup collection!
Not sure about the colour, but love trying new lip products.
English Laundry Signature Fragrances for men and women – approx 0.15 oz samples (not specified) – $72 / 1.7 oz each

Charming, Delicate & Elegant. Signature opens with quince, complimented by white chocolate and jasmine petals at the heart. For a purely peaceful scent, notes of orris roots, powdery musk and sensual woods have been composed at the base. Available in Holiday Gift Sets, Eau De Parfum, Body Lotion, Purse Sprayer and Pure Oil Roll On.
Signature By: English Laundry
Sophisticated, Masculine & Captivating. Signature is a fragrance with aromatic notes of bergamot, lemon, lavender and cedarwood. Nutmeg and coriander are composed in the middle. Signature reveals a base of sandalwood, vetiver, musk and amber. Available in Holiday Gift Set, Eau De Toillete, 3in1 Shampoo + Conditioner +Body Wash, Deodorant Stick and Pocket Sprayer.
As you can see the women perfume leaked in the bag. The leakage stayed inside that red envelope container and did not go onto anything else though. I contacted Ipsy and they will be sending me a replacement item, either the same or a comparable product.
The value of this bag comes up to about $42 which I find pretty good!
You can expect reviews of all these products once I try them. I’m taking a few days off between Christmas and New Year’s so hopefully I’ll get some good rest and the chance to try out a few products and work on reviews! 🙂
The Ipsy Glam Bag is a monthly subscription that costs $10 in the US and $15 for us Canadians. Each month, subscribers receive a beautiful Glam Bag with deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products.
Subscribe now to receive your own Ipsy Glam Bag. (This is my invitation link.) I am no longer subscribed to Ipsy.
Have you tried any of these products?
– Chantal 🙂
