POP Beauty Plump Pout in Fuchsia Freesia – Review

Hey everyone!

Today’s post is about the POP Beauty Plump Pout Mini that I received in my February Ipsy Glam Bag.

This plumping pout perfector combines the high-shine of a lacquered gloss with the long wear of a stain and is packed full of lip-plumping peptides and avocado and jojoba oils. Lightweight, creamy texture immediately merges with lips & delivers intense glossy color for an extremely long-lasting finish!

Applicator

It has a straight doe-foot applicator.

Colour

I received the colour Fuchsia Freesia.

Here’s a half-and-half to show you the impact it has on me. My lips are quite pigmented on their own so it’s not as drastic as it could be on someone who’s lips are naturally paler.

And a full application.

Formula

Lightweight, creamy texture immediately merges with lips & delivers intense glossy color…

Lightweight? Yes.
Creamy texture? Yes.
Intense glossy colour? Yes.

The product itself is not sticky, but it definitely has a wet creamy finish so it will transfer on whatever you touch your lips to.

is packed full of lip-plumping peptides and avocado and jojoba oils.

Plumping effect? I didn’t notice one.

…with the long wear of a stain…an extremely long-lasting finish!

Long lasting finish? After an hour of wear the creaminess was almost all gone. I drink a lot of water so my water bottle was wearing most of it by that point.

Long wear of a stain? After about 1.5 hours I went to check in the washroom and there was kind of a stain left on my lips, but it didn’t really look good. Another application would’ve been necessary.

Scent

This product smells horrible; it smells like plastic. I only smell it when I sniff the applicator directly though, once on my lips I don’t notice it.

Bottom Line

I don’t find that this product quite delivered on the formula side of things, but the colour is nice so I will give it a try this summer. I’ll also try it just as a little splash of colour instead of a full application like I did in these pictures, it might work better that way.

Is this a colour you would wear?
