Today’s post is about the yaby liquid foundation that I received in my January Ipsy Glam Bag.
The yaby Liquid Foundation leaves an unbelievably natural, super smooth texture and is extremely easy to apply. Mimics the skin’s natural sheen to create the most realistic flawless skin. Oil-free.
Let’s see how it worked for me…
This product is almost scent free. I could detect a very faint hint of plastic smell, but I was smelling directly from the tube so it could have very well been the tube that I was actually smelling. There is absolutely no scent when you have this product on your face.
I received the colour Buff. In the tube it looks a shade darker than what I need, but on my hand it looks close enough.
Here’s a half-and-half to show you how much it tones down the redness in my face. If you squint you might be able to tell which side I have it on! 🙂 If you can’t tell, it’s on the same side as the yaby text.
And now for the full application.
This foundation definitely has a light coverage. It toned down the redness a little bit, but not by much. That being said, I find it perfect for those days where I don’t want to get all done up, but still want a bit of coverage.
The colour actually matches my skin pretty well.
This foundation definitely feels light weight and you can tell that it’s oil-free because it does not leave any kind of greasy finish. I find it has a satin finish, which I really like.
I found this foundation lasted very well on me. I’ve used it a few times already and I really like it. I don’t have oily skin at the moment though so I don’t know how well it would hold up with combo/oily skin.
I really like how light it feels and that it has a non-shiny finish. I would’ve preferred a little more coverage, but if I put a pressed powder on top it helps tone down the redness a bit more.
Have you tried yaby liquid foundation? What type of coverage do you usually go for?
