Today I have the last items from Fontana Contarini that I received for review. These are eye products and I have the Eyeliner and the Eyeliner Pencil to show you.
the Eyeliner Pencil
I received this pencil in black, which is colour #1.
The pencil felt creamy and went on smooth when I swatched it on my hand.
I received this pencil in the colour blue. It’s kind of a really dark blue base with lots of blue shimmer in it.
It has a felt tip that works really well. You can go thin or thick depending on what you want to do with it.
This liquid liner is not waterproof, but it is budge proof and did not smudge at all until I removed it (in the look I did below). Regular eye makeup remover will take care of this one.
Liquid Eyeliner + Eyeliner Pencil
I tried these 2 product together, using the Eyeliner (liquid) on my upper lid to create a sort of winged look and the Eyeliner Pencil on my waterline and upper outer waterline.
This look had 2 firsts for me: first time using a liquid liner and first time trying a winged look.
I really liked the Eyeliner (liquid). As mentioned above it did not budge at all, but since it’s not waterproof it’s easy to remove. I recommend this one if you’re in the market for a new liquid liner. This product sells for $24.99 CAD and also comes in black.
I only tried the Eyeliner Pencil on my waterline; I did not try it as a liner so I don’t know how it would perform for that. However, it’s not waterproof and you can see in the picture above that it was already starting to fade from my waterline – and that was only 5-10 minutes after applying it. So I wouldn’t rush out to buy this one. This pencil sells for $14.99 CAD and comes in 5 other shades (grey, blue, brown, green, and white).
Cemrad T&M Inc. is the North American distributor of Fontana Contarini. You can purchase these eye pencils at Cemrad’s store, in their online shop or contact them to see if there’s a store close to you that carries it.
