Essence ”Lovely Lavender” Nail Polish – Swatches and Review

Hi hi hi!

Today’s nail polish is from Essence‘s trend edition that came out this spring called Bloom Me Up, and this polish is called Lovely Lavender.

The brush on this bottle is wide and thin – just how I like them.

This polish applied a bit streaky and sheer. I put 2 coats, with a medium second coat so I didn’t have to do 3 coats (cause I’m just not a fan of that). The polish did bubble a bit because of the thicker second coat, but the top coat took care of hiding that.

There’s a shimmer to this polish that is more apparent in the bottle than on the nails, but it still translates a bit to the nails and adds just a little something extra.

I really like the colour of this polish, it’s a beautiful lavender and is perfect for the spring and summer.

The formula of this polish wasn’t the greatest, but I was still able to achieve full opacity with 2 coats and the top coat took care of any imperfections there were – so overall I can’t complain. I really like the colour.

This was a limited edition released this spring, but you might still be able to find bottles in discount bins.

Did you get this one? Do you like this kind of colour?
