Butter London ”Branwen’s Feather” Nail Polish – Swatches and Review

Hello everyone!

Today I’m showing you a beautiful dark vampy nail polish from Butter London called Branwen’s Feather.

In case you have not tried Butter London nail polishes, the square cap is not the actual cap – it comes off.

The bottle is short, which means it has a short want. I find the brush to be on the small side too, which is not my favourite. It still works ok, but I find I have to dip the brush twice for each nail.

Just thought I’d show you the top of the cap since it has the Butter London logo. 🙂

This polish is described as a purple-ish black nail lacquer with loads of depth and shine. Like a silky raven’s feather at midnight by the Tower of London.

It’s a glass fleck polish. It’s a somewhat sheer black base with micro dark purple flakes. It has a gorgeous subdued sparkle in it.

The formula is a bit thin and I needed three coats for full opacity. Also, the flakes in it give it a bit of an uneven finish so I added two coats of CND Vinylux “Weekly Top Coat” on top to smooth it out (it dries super fast so you can do one coat right after the other).

Doesn’t it look gorgeous?!? I love it!

What are some of your favourite Butter London shades?
