Are you ready for March’s guest post! This month I have the lovely Megan from Makeup Monologues sharing some of her favourite green eye makeup, since green is our theme this month. Let’s see what she prepared for us…
Hi, it’s Megan here from Makeup Monologues! Today I’ll be showing you five of my absolute favourite green eye products.
I love green eyeshadow and liner. Love it. People tell me that it looks ridiculous, that people with blue eyes shouldn’t wear it, blah blah blah. I don’t care. I’ll do me, thanks!
Here are the products I’ve selected to show you!
Clockwise from top:
1.Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Freak. I love this liner. I can’t believe I almost returned it! It’s a beautiful light green with golden shimmer.
2. Shiro Cosmetics eyeshadow in Zora Sapphire. I know sapphire doesn’t sound green, but this is a teal loose eyeshadow with a crazy green duochrome.
3. GOSH Velvet Eye Liner in Lemon Soda. The only yellow-green liner I’ve found on the market, it doesn’t disappoint!
4. Wet N Wild Coloricon shadow trio in I Dream Of Greenie. Had to be included because, bam! It’s so green. I believe this was discontinued but it can still be found in various warehouse sales across the continent.
5. Essence Stays No Matter What Eye Pencil in Green Garden. It really does stay no matter what.
Now– onto the swatches!
Now, let’s see these babies on my face so I can show you what they’re capable of.
In both of these pictures I’m wearing I Dream of Greenie.
Here’s Freak on both upper and lower lashlines.
A more muted look with I Dream Of Greenie, with Lemon Soda as a wing and on the lower lashline.
Zora Sapphire all over the lid and Freak on upper and lower lashlines.
Can you see why I love green?
Happy March everyone, and thank you Chantal for hosting this post!
These are some beautiful green products, and very pigmented! And I love the looks you did with them. Thank you Megan!
