Monthly Empties: March 2015

Hey hey hey!

Time for some monthly empties again, and for once in a long time I’m on time with them! 🙂

Let’s see what I finished in March…

I actually have enough products this month to split them into categories, how exciting!

Legend:
Green light - loved it = Loved it!
Orange light - it's okay = It’s okay.
Red light - dislike = Dislike!
No rating = No rating.

Body

be Delectable – Coconut & Cream Body Wash Green light - loved it
I bought this product last summer at Target (which I showed in my Target Haul video). I find it smells like the coconut scented pine tree car fresheners, and when I close my eyes I see myself back in the 80s sitting in a car with velour seats that smelled like coconut. Ahh, scent memory… Anywho, this body wash lathered well and left my skin feeling smooth.

Dove – Go Fresh Cool Essentials Anti-Perspirant in Cucumber & Green Tea Green light - loved it
REPEAT ITEM! This is my go-to deodorant and I don’t buy any other brand/scent.

EcoTools – EcoPoof Mini Sponge Green light - loved it
I’ve been using shower poofs for years and I always preferred the small ones, so this one was perfect for me! About a month ago I purchased the EcoTools Bath & Shower Gloves and since then I have not used the poof so I’m putting it in the recycling bin.

Live Clean – Bali Oil Nourishing Body Wash Green light - loved it
I showed this product in my Target Haul last summer. It smells really good, like exotic fruits. It’s a bit on the liquid side so I tend to use a lot at once, but it lathered really good and left my skin feeling smooth and hydrated. I still had to apply body lotion afterwards, but it didn’t leave a squeaky clean feeling (which I don’t like).

Quo – Luxury Cotton Pads Orange light - it's okay
I bought these by mistake when I wanted to buy the Life Brand Cosmetics Pads (shown in my Nov 2014 Empties). These were just okay. They worked well at removing nail polish (which is what I use these for), but they left cotton dandruff all over the place.

Face

Arbonne – FC5 Exfoliating New Cell Scrub Green light - loved it
This scrub was in my Favourite Products of 2014 and it’s still my favourite face scrub. I use it every night and it makes my face feel nice and smooth. I even keep one in the shower for when I shower at night cause otherwise I forget to bring it.

Arbonne – Intelligence Rejuvenating Cream Green light - loved it
This is what I used as my night cream for the winter and it worked wonderfully! If you have oily skin you only need a little, and you can pile it on if you have dry skin – it works for everyone! I have weird skin; it’s oily but very thirsty, so I would use more than normal oily skin would. It sinks really well into the skin and does not leave a greasy or oily feeling.

Hair

Arbonne – FC5 Nourishing Daily Shampoo Green light - loved it
This is actually the second bottle I finish. I gave my almost empty first one to my sister-in-law to try it out and she ended up buying it! It leaves my hair feeling smooth and soft. You also don’t need a lot to clean your hair. It doesn’t create a lot of suds, but it washes really well.

Marc Anthony – Dream Waves Beach Spray Green light - loved it
I received this sample in my June 2014 Ipsy Glam Bag. This product smells AMAZING – if you like the smell of coconut, and I LOVE the smell of coconut! I started using this product in January to give my 2nd day hair a little boost and realized it was great for adding texture so I started using it after I washed my hair, and the following day my hair was so much easier to tie up in a messy bun. LOVE IT!

Misc

Bath and Body Works – Vanilla Bean Noel Mini Candle Green light - loved it
Vanilla Bean Noel has to be BBW’s Christmas signature scent. If you’ve never smelled it, you have to go check it out next Christmas. I have so many candles and I always forget to use them, so now I keep one on the counter to remind me to use them cause I love it when the house is filled with a wonderful smell. This one is just oh so yummy! And I love smelling warm sweet scents in the cold winter months.

And there you have it, all the products I finished in March. So many great products this month! I ended up having more than I thought I would cause when I started the month it seemed that nothing was close to being empty, but then they just started adding up. It’s nice when that happens.

Have you tried any of these products?

Check out what others have finished this month.
