Loose Button Luxe Box: Spring 2015

Hello everyone!

I received my Spring Loose Button Luxe Box last week and I’m finally posting it. I was hoping to do an unboxing video, but after the cold virus decided to camp here for three weeks I just didn’t have the energy to do it. So here is what I received this season.

My product dashboard has not been updated yet, again, so I don’t have values for my items. I will update this post once I get my product info.

When I posted about the Spring Limited Editions I indicated which products I was hoping to receive. Let’s see if I got some of them.

BUXOM | Show Some Skin™ Weightless Foundation (4 shade sample)

I like that there are 4 shades to try in this sample pack because it makes it easier to find a shade that suits you.

Crabtree & Evelyn | Nail Lacquer in Peony (Full Size)

This was on my wish list and I’m so excited I got it! I’ve never tried their nail polish and this colour is perfect for spring.

UPDATE: See my swatches of this Crabtree & Evelyn nail polish.

Klorane | Dry Shampoo

I’m tired of receiving this product in my beauty boxes. I already gave 2 bottles to my sister-in-law (she travels for work so the size is perfect for her). Here’s another one for you SIL! 🙂

Loose Button | Double Ended Blending Brush

I did not put this brush on my wish list, but I’m still happy I received it – just cause I don’t have one like that.

Paula’s Choice | Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant (30 mL)

When I see “exfoliant” I think of a scrub, do you think that too? This product is not that, you lightly soak a cotton pad and apply over the entire face, including the eye area (avoid the lower lash line and eyelids). Do not rinse. (as per instructions on their site).

This product is meant for all skin types, but the texture is especially suited for those with normal to oily or combination skin, stubborn blackheads, and blemish-prone skin.

Here’s something really interesting: It can also be used regularly to eliminate calluses on feet, elbows and knees. Huh!

I have the exact skin type that this product is especially suited for (as mentioned above). I started using it last night so we’ll see if it makes a difference.

I have no clue why I put the Klorane coupon here, it should’ve been with the dry shampoo. Ugh, baby brain, lol!

Soap & Glory | The Righteous Butter (50 mL)

I’ve tried a sample of this soap before and really liked it. I will save it for next winter though because it will be too heavy for me in the summer.

Too Faced | Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer (4 g)

This product was on my wish list, but now that I see it I think it’s too dark for me, unless I get a deep tan this summer. The Milk Chocolate bronzer would have been better for me (I think), but I believe this season’s box only had one shade. I have not tried it yet so it may still work out, you never know.

Oh, did I mention that it smells like chocolate? IT DOES!

I’m quite happy with the items I received, and if you look at the limited editions that were available this season, it’s like I got a down-sized version of the Beauty in Bloom upgrade (I’m just missing the Vita Liberata tanning mousse & mit, and the DKNY MYNY Eau de Parfum). I’m curious to see what others got in their boxes.

The Loose Button Luxe Box is a seasonal box (every 3 months) that contains 7-8 trial-size products. It costs $26 + tx per box and you can upgrade to special edition boxes for an extra price. If you go for the regular box you don’t know what you’ll received until you get you box, but if you upgrade you know exactly what you will get as they show you what the upgraded boxes contain.

Have you tried any of these products?
