Lady Queen Rhinestone Picker Wax Pen

Hi readers!

* Product provided for review. *

I’ve done lots of nail art lately with the October Nail Art Challenge so let’s take a little break from that to talk about a nail art tool. I love doing nail art (obviously) and I’m starting to have a good nail art tool collection, but one thing I was lacking was something to help me pick up rhinestones and glitters when I want to do placements. I usually use a dotting tool and lick the end to make the glitter or rhinestone stick to it, so I was really happy to try the Lady Queen Rhinestone Picker Wax Pen (2pcs/$1.99 USD).

The wax pens come unsharpened so you have to sharpen them yourself – not that it’s a big deal, but I just wanted to mention it. The wax tip works really well at picking up rhinestones.

You have to be careful not to press too hard when picking up your rhinestones, or when placing them on your nail, because the pen will leave a wax residue behind (which you can wipe off later). But if you just apply light pressure there will be no residue to be seen.

I used this wax pen to do my rhinestone nail art not too long ago and it worked wonderfully! I’m really happy to have this wax pen – no need to lick any dotting too anymore!

This wax pen duo retails for $1.99, but it’s currently on sale for $1.00 and they have free shipping worldwide – no minimum purchase required!

Have you used a wax pen to help with your nail art?

  • That is so freaking convenient. I also lick the end of something to get it to stick but sometimes it falls off. This would be so helpful for applying rhinestones to my face!

  • That’s genius!! I lick my finger to pick them up and sometimes they fall off or I place it on wrong because I can’t see through my finger… Definitely grabbing some of these for myself and stocking stuffers!

  • i feel like this is one of those tools that, for people in the field, the would totally be wishing it was invited and not that it is they’re going to go crazy for it lol. this seems to really work and its only $1 (on sale)!!
