The brush is round, but it feels on the small side like the Essie brushes. The cap is nice though, it’s rubbery so you get a good grip on it.
Cake Pop is described as a white pink crème. Yup, that’s what it is. Is such a light pink that you’d almost think it was white, but it’s not.
The formula was very thin and liquidy, and quite patchy too. I needed three coats for full opacity. It looked uneven after the three coats, but a layer of topcoat fixed that. These pictures are all three coats plus topcoat.
I have to say though that my nails went a full week without a single chip – that rarely happens to me!
This was my first time trying a nail polish from Orly and I have to say that I was not impressed. That being said, white and light crème polishes usually have this kind of formula though, so I’m not judging the entire brand based on this one polish. I need to try more.
What colours have you tried from Orly? What do you recommend?
