#WeLoveRain with the Helly Hansen Welsey Trench Coat

Hi everyone!

Are you happy that spring is finaly here?!? It’s so nice to see warmer weather coming around. But with warmer weather also comes rain. In the spring I often opt for a raincoat instead of a regular coat because if I’m caught in the rain without an umbrella I don’t need to worry, especially if the coat has a hood. The one I’ve been wearing lately is the Helly Hansen Welsey Trench Coat ($250 CAD) in the colour Rock.

The coat offers Helly Tech® Protection which means it is waterproof, windproof, and breathable. The outer shell is SO SOFT!

The hood cannot be removed, but it can be folded and packed into the collar. It does make it a bit bulky and sticking up, but with my short hair it’s not a problem at all.

You can zip up the pockets, and the cuffs are adjustable (you can unzip them to make them bigger). You can also remove the belt if you prefer; it’s not attached to the coat.

I’m really liking this Helly Hansen Welsey Trench Coat; it’s kept me warm and dry during the cold and wet spring days, and will continue to do so during the summer and into the fall until it gets too cold and I have to switch to a warmer coat.

Did I mention how soft this coat is?!? 🙂

What do you wear to keep you dry?

  • I love the colour and the style on you. I have had a few Helly Hansen rain coats in my day! Lol – it’s actually an amazing brand and I still own two (one of those rain coats is 11 years old!)

    • Thank you Nancy! This is my first HH coat and I love it!
I’ve also had clothes for years – when they’re good quality and you take good care of them they can last very well.

  • I love the inner neck piece and how it can snuggle up to keep you warm!
