The LEGO® Imagine Nation Tour is coming to Canada!

Hi everyone!

Did you play with LEGOs when you were a kid? I sure did! Do you still today? I know lots of people who do! 😉 They’re just so addictive!

The first-ever LEGO® Imagine Nation Tour is coming to Canada, how awesome is that?!? It starts this coming weekend in Ottawa (June 10-12) then will go to Montréal, Calgary, Vancouver, and Toronto throughout the year. You can get full details about the event on their site at LEGOImagineNationTour.com.

LEGO® Imagine Nation Tour

To get us in the LEGO spirit let’s take a look at some of their DUPLO sets made for toddlers. I was graciously sent Baby Animals and My First Garden for my daughter to play with.

Baby Animals
These cute creatures from the LEGO® DUPLO® Around the World collection are perfect for little animal lovers to develop early role-play skills. As they care for their new friends, talk to them about what different baby animals are called and where they live in the wild. This set offers great value for learning and play with a tiger cub, giraffe calf, polar bear cub and a turtle hatchling. (source)

My First Garden
My First Garden develops early building skills as toddlers stack the bricks to make their plants grow, with sunflowers, tomatoes, carrots and potatoes to choose from. Use the rain/sun decorated brick to help your child learn about how plants grow from the ground to flower or fruit. LEGO® DUPLO® bricks are specially designed to be safe for little hands. Includes 2 child DUPLO figures plus a bunny. (source)

My daughter LOVES playing with blocs. Once she saw the new toys waiting for her she didn’t even want to take her shoes off!

I don’t know who had more fun with the DUPLO sets, me while setting them up for the pictures or her! 😉

Do you still build LEGO structures? Will you be attending the LEGO® Imagine Nation Tour?

  • Ahhh LEGO! I was a Blacktron girl in my day, but it’s such a great learning tool for kids!

    • Yes they’re awesome for developing imagination and doing all kinds of structures. We got her more sets for her birthday. 🙂
