If you follow me on Instagram you know that I completely finished the Pacifica lip gloss that I reviewed back in January. While I loved that lip gloss, I also love trying new products so I decided to give Pure Anada a try and bought their Natural Lip Gloss in Pink Orchid and their Pressed Mineral Blush in Sweet Pea. I also grabbed their small Magnetic Compact (since Well.ca does not carry their large one).
Pure Anada is a Canadian brand that creates beauty products using ingredients derived from nature. Their products are cruelty-free and free from common allergens.
Natural Lip Gloss in Pink Orchid
I always gravitate towards pink shades and Pink Orchid seemed right up my alley.

Citrus Tangerina (Organic Tangerine Essential Oil) [contentblock id=leaf]
May contain the minerals:
Titanium Dioxide [contentblock id=leaf] An inorganic compound used as colorant (white) or sunscreen.
Zinc Oxide [contentblock id=leaf] Found in the Earth’s crust as natural mineral zincite.
The texture of this gloss is different than any gloss I’ve tried before! I’m not quite sure how to describe it – it’s almost a mousse-like texture. It glides on the lips really well and is so lightweight! It doesn’t hydrate my lips as much as I thought it would, but it still leaves them feeling soft.
There sure is a lot of shimmer in this gloss! It’s all good because I love it! I find it gives it a very summery vibe.
This swatch doesn’t do full justice to the pink shade of this gloss – you will see that in another swatch further down.
This gloss has a light citrusy scent that I quite enjoy, but I only notice it if I smell it directly; I don’t notice it on my lips.
I bought this gloss on sale for $10.19 CAD (reg $12) on Well.ca. It’s currently on sale for $9!
Pressed Mineral Blush in Sweet Pea
My go-to kind of blush shade is a very light pink that adds a barely-there tint for an ultra-natural look. Since I didn’t have one in that shade in my natural makeup collection I decided to give this Sweet Pea a try.
Iron Oxides (CI 77492, CI 77499) [contentblock id=x] Inorganic chemicals used as colorants. These are synthetic in the US.
Calcium Carbonate [contentblock id=leaf] A common substance found in rocks.
Caprylic Triglyceride [contentblock id=leaf] A specific fraction of coconut oil fatty acids.
Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba seed oil)* [contentblock id=leaf]
Ultramarines (CI 77007) [contentblock id=x] Synthetic pigments (blue).
Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891) [contentblock id=leaf] An inorganic compound used as colorant (white) or sunscreen.
*Certified Organic Ingredient
This blush is bigger than I expected (because of the size of the peephole on the packaging), which is great!
This blush has a shimmer that I was not expecting and it would almost work better as a highlighter – almost. The shade is exactly what I’m looking for, I just wish there was a bit less shimmer to it. The shimmer could very well be because of the lightness of the shade too. It’s the first blush that I try from them so I won’t know until I try another one.
I was hoping to have a full face of makeup to show you this blush, but my camera mutes down colours so you couldn’t even tell I was wearing anything; I couldn’t get it to show. 🙁 It’s not like it shows that much since you can see in the swatch picture above that it’s quite light (it looks really natural), but if I was to only put it on one cheek you could see a difference.
I love both products and definitely want to try more! There’s really not much more to say. 🙂
Have you tried products from Pure Anada?
