Get Your Beauty Sleep With The Mediflow Floating Comfort Pillow

Tired of using concealer to hide the dark circles under your eyes from lack of sleep? 😉 Sleep, it can affect our entire day in a good or bad way. Most of us don’t sleep enough (myself included) so it’s important that the sleep we do get is a good sleep. That’s where our pillows come in. Having the perfect pillow can change your okay sleep into an amazing sleep. Mediflow‘s new Floating Comfort Pillow ($99.99 CAD) will help you wake up refreshed and revived.

It takes comfort plus support for the best night’s sleep. That’s why every Mediflow® pillow has 2 layers – on the bottom our proprietary adjustable waterbase that provides responsive support for the neck – on top a soft, plump layer of our exclusive CombedLoft™ cloud-like Dacron® polyester providing exceptional comfort for the head. Traditional single layer pillows can only provide comfort or support depending on the filling but never both. What’s more, you can even customize the waterbase when you add water to achieve as much support as you desire!

This pillow has a built-in water chamber that you can fill up to increase the firmness of the pillow. Using the filling chart, I added just under 2L of water for a soft degree of firmness.

I won’t lie, I was nervous putting water into my pillow; it’s not something we usually do. I mean, what if it leaks during the night?

Both my husband and I tried this pillow so here are our thoughts.

I like to sleep with a thin pillow and this one is just a little too thick for me. After two nights of sleeping on it, I was starting to get some stiffness and soreness in my neck so I had to stop using it.

My husband sleeps with his hand under his pillow and he would always feel the valve, which he found uncomfortable and distracting, so he didn’t even last a full night with it.

Don’t get me wrong, this is not a bad pillow. It just didn’t meet our needs for a pillow. If it was thinner I’m sure I would have loved it because it’s very fluffy and comfortable.

Just to mention this, at first I was wondering if I’d hear the water swishing around in the pillow while I slept. After spending two nights on it, my experience is that if I was awake I could hear it very slightly (if I moved), but it never woke me up.

You can buy this pillow, and others, on the Mediflow site.

What kind of pillow do you like to sleep on?
