Oral care is not the most exciting thing to write or read about, but it’s something we all do. And since it’s not a widely discussed subject, I’m sure there are lots of products out there that exist that we don’t even know about. Today I’ll be sharing a few products from a brand I learned about through blogging: Radius.
Radius is a green company all around. Most of their products are vegan and cruelty-free (except for the floss I’m sharing with you because it’s made of silk). All of their products are either biodegradable or recyclable. Their toothpastes are all natural and organic (they even carry the USDA logo). Their toothbrushes are made with bioplastics, which are derived from renewable biomass sources (like vegetable oils and timber). They use low-energy electrical machines. And I could go on…!
TOUR™ Travel Toothbrush ($9.79 CAD)
An innovative solution to maintaining your oral care on the go, the Tour™ Travel Toothbrush gives you the same deep clean you’ve come to expect from RADIUS®, but with unique hide-away functionality that allows you to remove and store the brush head. It’s truly the ultimate in-transit must-have.
I’ve shared this toothbrush before so I won’t go in-depth about it again, but it’s a great toothbrush for travel or at home.
Organic Coconut Whitening Toothpaste ($12.99 CAD)
Say hello to a toothpaste so organic it can carry the USDA logo. Our one-of-a-kind formula delivers that deep clean mouth-feel, without the unpronounceable chemicals and additives found in similar products. We haven’t compromised on taste either — our delicious flavors are quite literally good enough to eat.
Gluten Free, Organic, Non-GMO, Vegan

Radius has a great description of every ingredient on their site.
You can definitely smell the ginger in this toothpaste, but it doesn’t have a strong scent. You can taste the ginger too, but once again it’s not strong. I’m not a big fan of ginger on its own (like when eating sushi), but I have no problems with the taste of this toothpaste.
Given that this toothpaste is ginger and citrus flavoured, it obviously won’t leave you with a minty fresh feeling once you’re done. But it still gives you a fresh feeling, and the toothpaste works really well.
As for the whitening aspect, I already use a toothpaste that whitens teeth by removing stains, much like this one, so I didn’t notice any improvement in my teeth’s whiteness (my natural teeth colour is more off-white).
Natural Biodegradable Silk Floss® Sachets ($8.29 CAD)
Our Natural Biodegradable Silk Floss® Sachets have done away with wasteful plastic containers. These convenient single-use flosses are perfect for carrying in your pocket or purse when you’re on the go. Made from glossy silk (instead of nylon), the Sachets are free from the toxins found in similar products and designed to glide easily between teeth for a superior clean.
This floss is made from Fair Trade silk and coated in natural Candelilla plant wax.
I don’t have much space between some of my teeth and some floss actually get destroyed by my teeth and leave bits and pieces behind, so I’m very picky about the types of floss that I use. This one needs a bit of elbow grease to fit between some of my teeth (which is nothing new), but it goes through without breaking or leaving anything behind, and takes care of the gunk between my teeth.
I like the individual sachet format because you can slip one or two into your pocket (or wherever) when going out to eat. I get that some floss can come in very small packaging, but those can still be too big if you don’t carry a purse, or if you carry a very small purse.
This floss (including packaging) is fully biodegradable in 60-90 days, and you can even throw it into your compost!
These are three great products from Radius and I have nothing bad to say about any of them. My favourite product out of these is hands down the floss. It works great and I love the individual packaging. You can also get the floss in a regular packaging format (which costs less). The floss also comes in mint and cranberry flavours, and these are made of vegan-friendly nylon instead of silk.
Radius also makes products for your kids, and even for your pets! They are definitely worth checking out.
