Ceramic Glaze Botanical Oasis Collection Swatches and Review

Hi everyone!

Get ready for some nail polish overload because today I’m showing you all eight shades from the Ceramic Glaze Botanical Oasis collection.

First we’ll talk about the brush because they all have the same one. It’s round, but small. Think Essie brush small, but just a bit longer. I find them a bit too small for my liking.

All swatches have a base coat, but no top coat – they all have a beautiful shiny finish on their own. All are with two coats and all are self-leveling, so I won’t repeat myself on every swatch.

First up is Heavenly, a beautiful pearly white polish that leans more pink once on the nails. I expected this polish to be really sheer and more of a topcoat, but it can stand by itself.

Urbane is a beautiful peachy nude, but I find it clashes with my skin tone. This one has a very faint shimmer that I did not see in the bottle, but noticed while I was applying it. If you look closely at my ring finger you can see it a bit.

Perfect Peony is a beautiful pinky coral that my camera does not like. It’s definitely looking more pink in this swatch than it does in real life; in RL it’s more coral. If you look at my first picture in this post, the one with all the bottles, you’ll see how it’s more coral.

Seize The Day is a beautiful pink that my camera did not quite like either, but this one is closer to the real thing than Perfect Peony is. In real life it’s a bit lighter and brighter though.

Impulsive is definitely one of a kind in this collection; it’s the only one with glitters and the only one with a matte finish. It’s a beautiful purple base with micro glitters in fuchsia and royal blue.

I had to add a top coat to see what it looked like, and here it is. It’s gorgeous both ways.

Petal Pusher is a gorgeous dusty lavender. This is the first one I tried from this collection and it sure set the bar high for the rest of the polishes. I mean, look at it!

French Riviera is a beautiful bright blue and it has the best formula of this collection; it’s almost a one coater. This is another one with a very faint shimmer that I only noticed when I was applying it.

Last but not least is Surf’s Up, a beautiful minty green. This is the one I was the most excited about and the one that disappointed me the most, unfortunately. The formula on this one is really thin and patchy and I needed three coats for full opacity. I still love the colour, but the formula is just not there for me.

All the colours in this collection are beautiful and perfect for the warm summer days coming up. And apart from the formula of Surf’s Up, the rest all performed amazingly. You really need to try a few (or all) of these!

Ceramic Glaze is available exclusively at Shoppers Drug Mart and the Botanical Oasis LE is available now. Will you be picking up any colours from this collection?
