Bio Seaweed Gel Nail Polish in 143 Raisin – Swatches and Review

Today’s nail polish is this beautiful shade from Bio Seaweed Gel called 143 Raisin. Let’s take a closer look…

143 Raisin is described as a medium plum and it has an opaque finish. I only used two coats, but I went rather thick on my second coat and some of the nails didn’t get to fully cure all the way through. My thumb and pinky fingers bubbled up; you can see how they’re uneven compared to the other ones. It didn’t show right away, but it was there when I woke up the next day. I was bummed about that, but it was my fault for trying to save time when doing my nails.

They still lasted two full weeks without chipping and could have gone longer, but that’s usually my cutoff mark because I need to trim my nails. I love my nubbies; long nails drive me nuts. Anywho, lesson learned: thinner coats.

And that’s it! Two coats and nothing else since the UNITY line does not require a base coat or a topcoat. That’s why I love these gel polishes.

The label colour is very accurate with this one (sometimes it’s not that accurate).

I love this colour! It’s dark-ish and vampy-ish and definitely one that I will reach for again.

My love for gel nail polish is still going STRONG! You have no idea how many times I did something to/with my fingers and immediately thought “that’s a chip”. Then I look at my nails and nope, NO CHIP. It’s seriously THE. BEST.
