Hi everyone!
Are you a fan of lip tints? I can’t say that I’ve really used them before so I was really happy to receive the Tosowoong Makeon Dual Shaking Lip Tints to try out! The collection has three colours: 01 Orange, 02 Vampire and 03 Blood. I’m a huge fan of anything vampire related so I was really interested with colours 02 Vampire and 03 Blood! Keep on reading to find out what these look like…
They all have a doe foot applicator that is slightly slanted.
These lip tints are quite interesting to look at; the formula is part oil (which includes avocado oil) and part tint so it seperates. Before you put them on you need to give them a good shake to mix the two parts together.
Because of the nature of the formula these are quite difficult to swatch on the arm.
After smudging them a bit you see the colours a bit better.
These lip tints have a plumping effect so you will feel a little stinging sensation on your lips, but it only lasts a few minutes. I have not noticed my lips looking any plumper though.
They have a minty smell which I quite enjoy, but it fades away very quickly.
Because of the liquid formula I found it very difficult to get clean lines and they all feathered into my lip lines. I also had a hard time getting an even coverage with 01 Orange, it did not really want to stick to the top of my upper lip for some reason.
I tried doing an ombre look with these, but that was a horrible fail. However, it did give a nice flush of colour to my lips since I used just a little bit of product (as opposed to doing a full coverage like above).
These didn’t work out for me to be used by themselves, but I can see using them under other lip products (in a very thin layer) to add a pop of colour.
What do you think of these?
– Chantal 🙂

So weird! I was expecting like zero payoff based on the swatches! But I really like how Vampire looks on you!
Yeah they applied way better on the lips than swatching on the arm. Vampire is definitely my favourite of the three, it’s just too bad it’s so much work to make it look good.
The formula is so weird – I’m not super adventurous with lippies so lip tints are a little out of my element, but I love Vampire on you!
Vampire is my favourite of the three!
these are so weird and cool but also too much of a hassle for me!
Yes, too much of a hassle! It’s too bad cause I really love Vampire.
Haven’t seen a lip tint like that before, but I like the shades vampire and blood on you!
Thank you! Those are definitely the best shades on me, Orange not so much.
These look so unique! Weird swatches haha but look great on you!
These are definitely unique, but just too much work to make them look good, unfortunately.
Lip tints are hard, I haven’t found one I really could commit to yet. The colours here look nice but the feathering would drive me up the wall!
I haaate feathering! I really like the concept of these, but the liquid formula just makes it hard to work with.
i agree with chelle! based on the swatches i would think that this would be a disappointment but i’m loving vampire!!
I completely forgot to mention in my review that when applying on the lips they go on fine (as opposed to the swatches on my arm). But still some work to get nice lines. Vampire is definitely my favourite colour of the 3! (another thing I forgot to mention… where was my mind when I was writing this?? lol!!)
Those are SO neat! Do you know whether they are cruelty free?
I don’t know what the ingredients are, it’s all written in Korean on the packaging, so I don’t know if they are cruelty free.
Aww that’s a bit of a bummer, they look super cool but I know that they will feather on me too.
They’re really fun to use cause of the shaking, but the formula is just not there for me.
