Good day!
Today I’m sharing with you a new-to-me brand, and also a fairly new brand overall: this is Kit in Jumping Luna Travi. I discovered this brand while shopping at Rexall last weekend.
The brand Kit is exclusive to Rexall and it launched earlier this year I believe. Unfortunately you will not find much information online about this brand, but their polishes are “3 free” which is nice.
I’m not quite sure what the name means, but luna is Spanish for “moon” and travi is Italian for “beams”, so I’m guessing “Jumping Moon Beams”? That would be a cool name, but how does it translate to this shade? Not sure. Regardless, I love this colour!
The brush is thin and wide, which I like. But it doesn’t really align with the square cap’s flat side so it’s a bit awkward to hold.
The formula is a bit streaky, but very self-leveling so it evens out by itself and the streaks are gone.
In these pictures I have 3 coats and no top coat.
I didn’t know what to expect because I’d never seen this brand before, but I was quite pleased with the formula, the colour and the end result. I got this in a “buy 2 get 1 free” deal, but they retail for $6.99 each.

Don't you just hate when the cap doesn't line up? Can you remove the black cap just like Chanel's?
No, unfortunately the cap is all one piece. It's the first one I try so I'm curious to see how the other ones are. I guess I could just open them up to check, lol!

My nails didn't use to be like this, but once I learned how to take care of them it made all the difference.
I love the bottles but I have to agree with you that it's so annoying when the caps don't line up! I also find the square/rectangular caps so awkward to hold while I'm painting. Love this basic shade though, looks like a perfect foundation for stamping!
I also LOVE that font, haha! I am an absolute nerd for typography.
Yes the square cap overall is a bit awkward, but if it aligned with the brush it wouldn't be so bad. It' just odd.
This colour would be the perfect base for stamping, I'll have to try that! It's also perfect as undies for glitter… a little hint at my next post! 😉
I love fonts as well. I used to "collect" them when they were a new thing. Not sure for what, but I did. 🙂
