Essence ”Tropical Heat” (Ticket to Paradise LE) – Swatches and Review

Hi readers!

I hope you all had a great weekend! Mine was busy and fun, filled with a friend’s baby shower, a visit with family, and this morning my finals for my Monday night’s Ultimate team. We lost both games (boo), but we had lots of fun and it was a beautiful day so really I can’t complain. I’m pooped now though and will surely sleep like a baby tonight!

Tonight I’m showing you the third and last polish from Essence‘s Ticket to Paradise limited edition (LE) that we got in Canada and this one is called Tropical Heat. There were actually 4 polishes in this LE, but they always tend to remove one colour from all their LEs that come to Canada. Why? I have no clue. But for once they removed the colour that I liked the least (an orange).

This polish, like the other two, has a wide and thin brush.

These polishes are described as a semi-transparent gel-like texture to create a cool, glossy wet-look.

This one is a sheer shimmering gold polish. I used 3 coats and no top coat.

The formula on this one was the best out of the three, I had no issues with streaking or pulling at the cuticles. It also has a nice shiny and even finish on its own.

Gold is not really my colour, but when it comes to Essence polishes I just have this need to grab them all! 🙂

These polishes retail for $2.49 (CAD) and you should still be able to
find some in your local Shoppers Drug Mart since they only came out in
Canada about 2 weeks ago.

If you missed them, go check out my reviews of Drive With Me To The Ocean (a turquoise) and My Treasure Island (a fuchsia).

Do you like gold polishes? What do you think of this one?
