Scent

A merry, delicate scent with apple wrapped in light floral notes with a festive touch of ginger.

I find both products smell like you just bit into a red juicy apple. Yummy!

Shower Gel & Shower Puff

The shower gel has a reddish-pink colour.

The gel lathers really well into the puff. I used about a big marble’s amount and the lather lasted well enough for me to wash my entire body. I find some shower gels lose their lather by the time I’m almost done, but this one kept it nice and going.

I found my skin felt a little bit tight after rinsing. I’m used to moisturizing body washes (the kind that leave your skin kind of slippery after you rinse them off) and I know some people hate those, so that’s really a personal preference. It still wasn’t as tight as I’ve had it with other soaps.

As for washing it did a great job. To me the big test is how well does it remove my deodorant, and this one removed it just fine.

Body Butter

The body butter has a very faint pink tint, but it’s very very faint.

The butter is thicker than a lotion (obviously), but it’s not as thick as other body butters I’ve used. That being said, it still hydrates very well and does not leave a greasy residue like some thicker body butters can.

Bottom Line

I really liked both products, and the shower poof too! As a personal preference I go for more hydrating body washes than this one, but I will still finish this one because it didn’t leave my skin that tight, and it smells delicious!

I bought this set for myself when I put an online order a few weeks ago. At the time, if you spent $25 this duo was only $5. I think it’s currently on sale for $5 though (reg. $12.50).
