This is another polish from the vault; it’s one I wore at the end of September! This polish is from Etude House‘s Color Pop collection and it’s called Hawaiian Soda Pop (CBL601).
This is the second polish I have from this collection and it’s very close to the other one I already reviewed called Cool Mint Pop. I’ll do a comparison at some point.
Why did I buy 2 colours so close to each other? I actually wanted a bluer one instead of this one, but I wasn’t paying attention when I put them in my cart, oops! Oh well, I still love this colour! 🙂
The brush is wide and thin, just like I love them.
This formula dries fast so it pulls at the cuticles if you do too many passes with the brush. I expected that though because the other colour was the same.
I need to start doing the 3 stroke method when applying my polish because I currently do 4 and that last stroke down the middle usually will pull at the cuticle if the polish is prone to that.
This polish has a bit of an uneven finish, but the top coat takes care of that (I always use top coat). In these pictures I have 2 coats of polish followed by 1 coat of top coat.
So the finish is a bit uneven, but since top coat fixes that I really can’t complain. It dries fast and it’s a beautiful colour – what is there not to love? 🙂
