Flexitol ”Heel Magic”, ”Very Dry Skin Cream” and ”Intense Hydrating Lotion” – Review

Hi readers!

* Products provided for review. *

Today I’m going to talk about skin hydration with Flexitol products: Heel Magic, Very Dry Skin Cream and Intense Hydrating Lotion.

Flexitol Heel Magic

Flexitol Heel Magic is an innovative new way to hydrate dry, cracked heels and feet. This easy to use, no mess stick format contains a unique blend of emollients and moisturizers including Urea, Shea Butter, Lanolin and Olive Oil in a highly concentrated moisturizing base.

I could not detect a scent on this product – it is odourless.

It’s obviously thick enough to keep the shape and not leak out of the tube, but it melts well with your body heat when you apply it. I honestly never touched this product with my hands, I always applied it directly onto my heels and that seemed to be good enough – it did not require me to rub it in further with my hands.

I tend to neglect my feet a bit in the winter since they’re always hiding in socks, but now that spring seems to be coming around it’s time that I start giving them a bit more TLC to get them ready for sandal season.

I tried this Heel Magic on my heels (obviously) and here is the result after 4 days of using it morning and night. I apologize for the foot picture as I know some people are grossed out by feet.

My feet weren’t that bad to start off with, but you can definitely see less dry skin after 4 days. I’ll definitely be reaching for this product to help keep my heels looking their best all through the summer.

You can purchase this Heel Magic for $14.99 (CAD) on the FarleyCo Web Site, and they also list the retailers that carry it.

I highly recommend this product!

Flexitol Very Dry Skin Cream

Flexitol Very Dry Skin Cream is medically formulated to provide relief for extremely dry, itchy and scaly skin. It contains 12.5% urea in a synergistic blend of emollients and skin conditioners for optimum hydration. Temporarily protects and helps relieve minor skin irritations and itching. Also suitable for other dermatological conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis.

This cream has a scent that I can’t quite describe, but don’t really like it. It’s not strong though so my other scented products can mask it well enough. I just find that when you don’t like a scent you tend to notice it more even if it’s light.

This cream is definitely heavier than a lotion, but lighter than a body butter – which is to be expected. It absorbs well into the skin and does not leave a greasy feeling.

I have this dry patch on my left elbow that I just can’t seem to get rid of even though I moisturise daily, so I’ve been testing out this cream on it. Here’s a picture to show you how it did after using it for a week.

It was hard to photograph my elbow so I apologize if you can’t see much of a difference – but believe me I can feel the difference.

I tried to use this cream twice a day, but I would sometimes forget to use it at night. Also for the first 3-4 days I would use it on top of my regular body moisturiser in the morning so I don’t think it was absorbing as well as it should have. I then switched the order of the products to use this one first. It still managed to ease the dryness and I’m sure with continued use it will get rid of the dry patch completely soon enough.

You can purchase this Very Dry Skin Cream for $12.99 (CAD) on the FarleyCo Web Site.

I’m not a fan of the smell of this one, but it did work well on my dry patch so give it a try if you have stubborn dry patches that won’t go away.

Flexitol Intense Hydrating Lotion

Flexitol Intense Hydrating Lotion is a luxuriously rich, skin nourishing body lotion developed for everyday use for the whole family. It penetrates your skin for optimal hydration, helps to lock in natural moisture for 24 hours, and protects your skin against dryness, chafing and everyday irritants.

– Non-greasy
– Rapidly absorbed
– Clinically proven to increase skin hydration

I find this smells like the Very Dry Skin Cream and I’m not a fan of it, but it’s also light and not overpowering.

Being a lotion it is lighter than the cream, and it also absorbs very well into the skin and does not leave a greasy feeling.

Because of the scent I’ve only used this on my legs because once I put my pants on I have no chance of smelling it. It does make my legs feel nice and smooth and keeps them hydrated until my shower the next day.

You can purchase this Intense Hydrating Lotion for $12.99 (CAD) on the FarleyCo Web Site, and they also list the retailers that carry it.

I’m not a fan of the scent on this one, but it does hydrate really well. We all have different opinions on what smells good or not, so give this one a whiff if you see it, and if you like it then give it a try – it is a good moisturiser.

My favourite product of the 3 is definitely the Heel Magic, it really is magical!

Have you tried Flexitol products before?

Come back on April 7th for a little something special that will include 2 of these products! 🙂
