I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas (for those who celebrate). We had a great day with family.
I was hoping to have this post up before Christmas since I did some Christmas nail art with it, but oh well, I’m just a day late. 🙂
NOPI November is long gone by now, but I’m still trying to get through my Nicole by OPI polishes, and this one is called Kissed At Midnight.
Love the brushes on the NOPI bottles because they’re wide and flat. But I have to say that with glitter polishes I don’t find it makes that much of a difference what shape the brush has.
Kissed At Midnight is a clear base polish with large silver hex glitters, and small and tiny gold hex glitters. From the bottle I thought it was just cool toned gold glitters, but once on my nails I noticed it was actually a mix of gold and silver.
I was initially going to wear this glitter mix over a green polish, but when I had Sinful Colors “Sugar Sugar” on my nails I realized that it would be very festive over red as well.
Let’s take a closer look. This is one coat of Kissed At Midnight (the shimmer is from Sugar Sugar).
I used tape on my index and middle fingers to make tree shapes with the glitter, and I manually placed the glitters on my pinky for the snowflake and on my ring finger for the star on the tree. I then finished it all off with two coats of CND Vinylux “Weekly Top Coat”.
These nails were very festive and very fun to wear.
What kind of festive nails did you have this year?
