Hey hey!
Fall is here and I’m taking out my dark nail polishes! I love all colours of nail polish and I like changing with the seasons, but – and I’ve said this many times before – my true love lies with dark vampy shades.
Earlier this summer I made an order on The Bay and the Michael Kors products were buy one get one free so I added two nail polish to my cart. Today I’m showing you the first shade that I tried; this is Femme Fatale.
The square cap comes off to reveal a small round cap. The brush is small – think Essie brush small – and I’m not a fan of those.
Femme Fatale is a dark – almost black – blue with a small shimmer that you see more in the bottle than on the nails. The formula is really nice, but it’s a bit thin. If it was just a bit thicker this would be a one coater.
Two coats gave me full opacity and then I finished it off with a topcoat to give it a really nice shiny finish. It was sort of shiny on its own, but just not as nice as with a topcoat.
This is the first Michael Kors nail polish that I try and I love it! The formula is great and the colour is beautiful – if you’re into really dark colours like I am. 🙂

Wow is that ever pretty? I almost pulled the trigger on a BOGO Kors order since I had been eyeing those bronzing powders for years.
I agree, it’s gorgeous! With the BOGO sale I just HAD to try them and I’m so glad I did!

What a beautiful shade! I haven’t tried any MK polishes, to be honest I didn’t know they made them but it was nice to see these swatches for future reference.. also do you have a nail care routine post? your nails are absolutely perfect

I didn’t know MK had nail polish until I saw them on The Bay and I’m really glad I tried them. Well, I’ve only tried this one so far, but the formula was awesome!
