Nair Wax Ready-Strips for Legs & Body – Review

Hi everyone,

It’s been quiet on the blog lately because I caught a nasty sinus cold last week and it’s taking its sweet time to leave. This one knocked me out hard and drained all of my energy, but I’m finally starting to feel better. My daughter was also sick (she brought it home from daycare), and now that this sinus cold is going away she’s starting to cough – I hope it’s not a new cold. Ugh! Anywho…

Now that summer is around you’ll see a lot more hair removal posts from me since I wax my legs myself, and more often now that I have a kid since I don’t go to the spa on a monthly basis like I used to in the past.

Today’s hair removal product featured is the Nair Wax Ready-Strips for Legs & Body.

This kit comes with 40 wax strips (20 sets of 2), 4 finishing wipes, and instructions.

I’ve tried many wax strips in the past and I’ve always had to “heat” them up by rubbing them between my hands, but these Nair strips are different because you don’t need to do that. Just peel them apart slowly and they’re ready to use.

I’ve tried a few different brands of wax as well and the Nair waxes I’ve used have always worked well so my expectations for these strips were a bit high. Let’s see how they worked out for me…

They worked GREAT! I was very impressed because I have not had much luck with wax strips in the past; most don’t work that well for me. And for that reason I rarely buy wax strips, but I’ll be buying these in the future. They’re definitely faster than using warm wax, and they actually work for me.

Have you tried wax strips before? What brand works for you?

  1. I have been using the Nair no strip wax for years now, and I absolutely love it! I tried these strips from Nair a few years ago, but I needed to ‘heat’ it up by rubbing the strips together. It was really messy and didn’t work out because some areas were heated while others didn’t. Good to know that you don’t need to rub these anymore, I want to give them a try!

    • I’ve only tried the Nair hot wax before and always had great results with them, I’m glad to see I had the same result with their wax strips. I’ll definitely buy them now – along with the warm wax (cause the warm wax is more cost effective). These are definitely good to have for when you need to do a quick wax job.
