I’m back with another nail polish post for you today! After doing my nails for my last post it made me realize how much I missed doing my nails so this weekend I took the time to do them again. This mama is happy! 🙂
The nail polish I’m sharing with you today is from a brand that I discovered from Jayne of Cosmetic Proof after she shared about them in a Facebook group we’re both in. After seeing their bottle shapes I just HAD to have some! So, today I present you Bootie Babe in Cushy Tushy.
Before we talk about anything I have to show you the back of this bottle.
Bow chica ow ow! 😉 They say “our bottles got back”. Isn’t it hilariously awesome?!? And all their nail polish colours have funny names that relate to your tushy. I LOVE IT!
The brush on this bottle is wide and thin, but the wide part is not as wide as I would like it to be. However, I found it great to not get too much product out and it did not pool my cuticles (I’m bad for doing that cause I get too much nail polish on my brush). But I did have to dip the brush several times to get enough for one coat.
Cushy Tushy is described as a plum purple creme. It’s a wee bit darker on the nails than it is in the bottle, but I love love LOVE it!
The formula was a bit thin, and I went really thin with my layers too to keep things clean, so I required three coats for full opacity. You could get away with two medium coats, but like I said I went really thin. I then finished it off with a layer of top coat.
I bought this nail polish back in 2014 and this colour no longer seems to be available. I have two more colours that I will show you eventually.
The prices seem to have gone down since I bought my bottles. Back then they were $8 each, yesterday they were $6 and now they’re listed at $3.99 each.

Isn’t it hilarious??? I HAD to have at least one, I mean, come on, lol!!! I just want to spank it, BAHAHAHAHA!!!
