Today I’m back with two more products from AMOREPACIFIC: their Moisture Bound Skin Energy Hydration Delivery System ($42 CAD/$35 USD) and their Moisture Bound Rejuvenating Eye Treatment Gel ($95 CAD/$85 USD).
The Moisture Bound line is deeply hydrating, antioxidant-rich skincare formulated with highly concentrated bamboo sap to delay signs of aging.
Both these products have a perfumy scent, but it’s very light and does not linger. It’s perfumy in a luxurious way, not in a granny way. 🙂
Moisture Bound Skin Energy Hydration Delivery System
The Moisture Bound Skin Energy Hydration Delivery System (referred to as a mist below) is an oil-free facial mist to dramatically improve treatment absorption and provide instant and long-term hydration. The way I use this product is I spray it all over my face (3-4 sprays) after I cleanse and dry my face. I don’t rub it in through, I reach for my serum and apply it while my face is still moist from using this mist.
I have combination skin (skin type related to sebum creation), but I also have dehydrated skin (skin issue related to water retention) so adding products into my routine that add hydration to my skin is always welcome. However, since I have combo skin I’m always a bit hesitant because I’m always afraid that it will lead to oilier skin. I can happily say that it was not the case while using this mist. I’ve been using it for the past month and we’ve had some crazy hot days here (above 30°C, add in humidity and we’re close to, or above 40°C) and I have not needed to blot more often than before. Ok, so we do have air conditioning at home and at work, but the humidity is there regardless and if you have combination or oily skin you know that humidity and face oil don’t go together.
If you have dry skin you can also use this on top of your makeup to give boosts of hydration throughout the day.
Moisture Bound Rejuvenating Eye Treatment Gel
The Moisture Bound Rejuvenating Eye Treatment Gel is an eye treatment to maintain a youthful, rested appearance. I’ve always associated gel products as the light alternative to creams, but don’t let this gel fool you because it’s moisturizing AF. You really don’t need a lot; a little goes a long way.
Just as a side note, I don’t apply eye products on my lids; just under my eyes and on/under my brows. When I talk about my eyes, below, I’m referring to my under eye area.
This eye gel is really moisturizing, but not heavy at all. I’ve always had issues with eye creams where I would often have to apply it twice because after the first layer would sink in my eyes would still feel a bit dry, so I would apply a second thin layer. Either that or I’d have to apply one thick coat, but that just left my eyes feeling greasy. With this one I can go as thin as I want to and my eyes feel moisturized and plump. It’s awesome!
Sometimes I apply it before using the mist, and sometimes I do it after. Either way it feels great.
Final Thoughts
I’ve never been loyal to any eye cream because I’ve never tried one that made me think WOW! But this one does!! Once I finish all the ones I have at home (I only have one more) I’ll definitely be buying this one because I LOVE IT!
The face mist feels really nice. I’m not even halfway through it yet, but I will put it aside for now and take it back out this coming winter during the dry and cold weather. It feels great now so I can only imagine how wonderful it will feel once the air is dryer.

I’ve only tried the CC Cushion Compact by them, but I loved it enough to want to venture more into the brand at some point. The packaging is so pretty. I’m such a sucker for facial mists! Great reviews!
