Today I’m sharing with you the nail polish I received in my Summer 2016 Luxe Box; this is Morgan Taylor “I’m The Good Witch”. From what I can find, this nail polish was part of the Enchantment Collection released in the Fall of 2014.
The brush is wide and thin and it works well.
On Morgan Taylor‘s site this is just described as “burgundy glitter”. However, you can see that it is much more than that! It has a burgundy/brown base with mini rose gold glitters, the smallest micro orange flakies, and a few small holo glitters. See for yourself in this MACRO SHOT! 😀 I can finally do macro shots again now that I have new phone lenses, WHOOHOO!!!
I needed three coats for full opacity, and I finished it off with two generous layers of topcoat. I love me a nice smooth finish!
This polish is a bit lighter on the nails that I thought it would be; I expected the jelly base to be a tad darker because that is how it seems to be in the bottle. But that is just because there is more of it. I’m still happy with the end result.
You may be thinking that this polish was a bitch to remove, but it was not. I did not use a peel-off base coat and I still peeled them all off in one piece each. My trick? Soaking my hands for a long period of time, like in a bath or hot tub. They come off clean with no damage to the nails. You can still keep the polish for a few days after the soak if you want to – I peeled these off two days after giving a bath to my daughter (her baths are long cause she loves to play in the water).
It’s been a while since I’ve worn a glitter bomb and I really enjoyed this one, even though I would’ve preferred it a bit darker.

I had no idea that soaking them in water would help peel off glitter. How long do you think you soaked them? When I have a bath, I tend to leave my hands out of the water (no idea why), so I’ve never thought of doing something like this!
I would say a good 15-20 minutes of soaking is needed. This is something I discovered after a dip in the hot tub. Since then I’m always careful around water, or not, depending on if it’s a normal polish or glitter.
