Hi hi!
A few weeks ago I was walking through the beauty section at Loblaws and saw a nail polish display of the Wet n Wild Fall 2015 limited edition Here’s to the Wild Ones! I don’t even remember what other shades were left (I was not interested), but when I saw Gettin’ Inked I just HAD to have it, so here it is!
The brush is super wide and thin, and tapered at the end. I usually like these types of brushes, but this one is not trimmed well. If you look closely at the pictures below you’ll see how it’s not quite even, and for that reason I found the application to be a bit messy and uneven around the cuticles.
In the bottle Gettin’ Inked looks like a nice really dark purple with shimmer, but on the nails it’s pretty much just black. Even in direct light the shimmer is hard to see.
This is two coats plus topcoat.
You can see the shimmer a bit better in this next picture if you squint a lot, hee-hee! 😉
If you know me you know I’m all about dark vampy shades, but I’m quite disappointed with this one because I was really hoping for it to look like what you see in the bottle. If it at least came to life under lights that would be ok, but it really doesn’t. Boo. 🙁
I really don’t remember how much I paid for this one, but I’m sure it was under $3 CAD because I remember thinking how inexpensive it was (I don’t buy Wet n Wild often cause I don’t see them where I usually shop). So at least I did not spend a fortune.

I hate polishes look nothing like they do in the bottle, it’s so disappointing. And this one looked so interesting in the bottle. It’s too bad.
Thankfully this doesn’t happen too often. But I was so disappointed with this one, I really wanted that purple shimmer on my nails.
