Pacifica Nail Polish in Red Red Wine – Swatches and Review

Two years ago I received this Pacifica nail polish in my September Ipsy Glam Bag and I finally tried it last weekend! This colour is called Red Red Wine and it is absolutely GORGEOUS!

The brush is wide and thin and it works well.

This is a bit of a jelly polish and the formula is quite thin and liquidy, but there’s just something about how it coats the nail when you apply it that I absolutely LOVE!

I needed three coats for full opacity, and then I decided to add on some half pearls so I added a layer of clear nail polish to act as glue, then I applied the pearls, then I finished it off with a generous layer of topcoat to seal it all in.

I did my nails on Friday night and only removed them on the following Thursday. They only had minimal tip wear and 2 mini chips – I was quite impressed by the longevity of my manicure.

This is the first nail polish I try from Pacifica and I WANT MORE! There was just something about the formula that I found a dream to work with, even though I needed three coats for full opacity. And you know I love me a good vampy polish and this one sure hits the mark.
