Illamasqua ”Collide” Nail Polish

Hey everyone!

Remember a few weeks ago when I posted Illamasqua “Faux Pas” and mentioned I bought a few more Illamasqua nail polish on The Bay? This is one of them! I present to you Illamasqua Collide!

The brush is the typical round brush and it works well. You can choose to leave the square cap on or remove it – there’s a small round tip underneath.

Collide is described as a bright neon pink with a satin finish. Short and to the point, because that’s what it is!

The formula is a wee bit sheer, more a crelly than a creme finish, but the end result is gorgeous. Plus, one coat is enough. It’s self-levelling so you don’t have to worry about bumps or patches. Could you ask for a better formula? I think not! πŸ™‚

I do have two coats in these pictures because I thought the extra coat might make the pink pop a bit more, but it didn’t really do that much of a difference so one coat is definitely all you need with this nail polish.

I’m not a huge fan of the satin finish so I added a top coat and I love it!

I took a picture outside to show you how bright this nail polish really is. Look at that beauty!

This is the second nail polish I try from Illamasqua and I’m seriously impressed. They are over my usually $5 limit for nail polish, but they are definitely worth the splurge!

Have you tried nail polish from Illamasqua?

  • I only own one Illamasqua polish (Rain drops), but I agree, they are definitely worth the money!

  • I’ve never tried Illamasqua nail polish (or anything from that brand), but this colour looks SO SO NICE! I’m so picky with nail polishes too… I hate spending over $5 for them but ahhh. I would totally buy this!

  • This is such a pretty and perfect pink on your skin tone. Great Post

  • I’ve heard such great things about the Illamasqua polish formulas! Haven’t tried any though…if I wasn’t on a no-buy I would totally look into these. $8 is such a bargain!

  • I am such a huge fan of Illamasqua polishes! This is such a fresh, pretty, vibrant shade πŸ™‚

  • Trysh Chipman

Illamasqua polishes are such good quality! That colour is really, really pretty on you as well.

  • Whoa that’s gorgeous! Really pops in the photos!

  • I love Illamasqua nail lacquers, so sad that the brand isn’t available in Canada anymore! Collide is one of my favorites too! πŸ™‚

  • The formula sounds so good! So glad to hear you like it so much. It’s like the perfect pink shade!

  • Uggghhhhhhh I love that colour! Good to know about the formula, I should definitely get one myself.

  • I don’t own any, but love one-coaters! $8 is a great price for them too, but I am on no-buy too

    • I’m on a no-buy as of now, so no more Illamasqua for me for a while. But I still have 2 more to try. πŸ™‚

  • I haven’t tried anything from Illamasqua, but that color is gorgeous! I love one coaters! Anything more than 2 and I will hardly touch it!

    • I hate more than 2 coats as well – such a pain! Two coats is the standard so one coaters are huge bonuses. Less work, ya know? πŸ˜‰

I just got this polish and I can’t wait to wear it even if summer is almost over!
