Sigma E65 Small Angle Brush

Hi everyone!

* Product provided for review. *

When it comes to makeup brushes I use the basics, but with so many different brush types for every area of your face, I just use what works for me (not necessarily what “should” be used). One of the brushes I use on a daily basis, and use “correctly” πŸ˜‰ , is an angle brush because I don’t use pencil eyeliners, I use eyeshadow as my liner. So I was really happy to get to try the Sigma E65 Small Angle Brush ($18.20 CAD).

I don’t know why I started using eyeshadow as liner instead of an actual liner – I’ve been doing it for so long. Maybe it’s because it’s not as opaque as a pencil liner, and it gives a blended look so if your line is not perfectly straight, no one will know.

Here I am wearing a black eyeshadow as liner, done with the Sigma E65 Small Angle Brush.

I’m really liking this brush and have been using it all the time since I’ve received it. It works great!

I need a kabuki brush and now I’m eyeing their F80 Flat Kabuki Brush.

  • my go to angle is the one from mac. its perfectly thin so the line never goes on too thick.

    • That’s the one I was using too! But I’ve had it for so long that it’s all bushy now compared to this Sigma one. It’s not that bad, but just compared to this one it definitely looks thicker.

I was just looking for a good angle brush πŸ™‚ Thanks Chantal for this good review.

  • I’ve never had any brushes from Sigma :p I want to though, and have been eyeing on their brush sets. I usually use Mac’s angled eye liner because it was the first one I got and it lasted for many years πŸ™‚

    • I have MAC’s angled brush as well, it’s what I was using before and I’ve had it for many many years as well. πŸ™‚

  • I have about 10 different angle brushes, mostly for brows. I have this one and love it!

    • I use them for brows on the odd times I fill them out! πŸ™‚ But I would say 99% of the use is for eyeshadow liner.
