Today I’m showing you one of the Freeman Beauty Facial Paper Mask that I got in my September Ipsy Glam Bag.
There were 3 masks that came in that bag and I first tried the Star Fruit Purifying Facial Paper Mask.
This mask is meant to purify and help control oil and is perfect for combination to oily skin, which is what I have.
It smells great! I’m not familiar with star fruit so I can’t say if the scent is accurate or not, but I find that it smells like real fruits and not a fake smell.
The mask is very thin and hard to manage. It’s all folded up in the package and it sits on a plastic sheet, but given that it’s so thin it’s still hard to fully expand.
It’s also very small, I had to rip bigger holes for my eyes and it doesn’t fit my face.
I’m sucking my cheeks in trying to fit into the mask. :p Also it looks like my face is peeling, eeewww, lol!
The mask hydrates really well and you don’t need to add a moisturizer afterwards. It did leave my face sticky for quite a while though – dry but sticky.
This mask smells great and hydrates really well, and other than the sticky feeling it left afterwards, my face felt great. However, it’s too thin to handle and too small for my face.
Will I buy this product? No.
Have you tried this one?
