Hey everyone!
That’s right, we’re having a girl! We had our 20 week ultrasound yesterday and we were lucky that she cooperated. She was moving a lot so we weren’t sure if we’d get to find out, but lucky for us she let us check. 🙂
And of course I had to celebrate with some nail art.

For this look I used:
- OPI “Nail Envy” as base coat (not shown);
- Joe Fresh “Pink” x3 coats as base colour;
- Nubar “Diamont” top coat (not shown);
- OPI “Yes I Can-Can!” for stamping with plate Bundle Monster BM-307.
I learned the hard way not to put a top coat over the stamping. You can see what that does in my Swirly Stamping Nail Art that I did last year (check out the last picture). So since then I put NO top coat over the stamp.

I wasn’t sure what colour to use to get a nice dark pink for the stamp and turns out that Yes I Can-Can! was perfect for that.

I need to work on my thumb alignment to center the stamp a bit better, but I still think it’s pretty good.

I thought the ladybug was just too cute so I used her as my accent nail. 🙂

This is how I made the announcement to my friends and family on Facebook. Right after our ultrasound I went to Michael’s and picked up this pretty pink bow.

I’m really happy with how these turned out!

Stamping is so much fun. Have you tried it before?
– Chantal 🙂
