This is the NYX Butter Gloss in the shade Crème Brûlée that I received in my June Ipsy Glam Bag.
Butter me up with diving gloss that feels like it melts on lips.
Nudes can be tricky – let’s see how this one worked out for me…
This gloss smells delicious! It smells like dessert, like sugar cookies. YUM!
The applicator is your typical doe foot shape and it works well.
The shade Crème Brûlée is a beautiful nude that is not too opaque so it doesn’t wash out my lips. Here’s a half-and-half comparison so you can see how it works with my natural lip colour.
And here is a full application.
This butter gloss feels wonderful on the lips! It’s nice and creamy and feels moisturising.
It is a bit sticky and my hair stuck to my lips a little bit, but not as much as it does with other brands (I’m thinking MAC Lipglass). It wasn’t that bad.
I tried this back in June before I gave birth and it lasted a good while through my then too frequent drinking – a good 2-3 hours. So it would definitely last longer if you’re not sipping water every 5 minutes like I used to do.
I absolutely love this NYX Butter Gloss! I have not worn it since because I barely wear any makeup since giving birth, but I definitely will wear this again, and I will go check out the other shades too!
This is what I wore in my Unboxing: Histolab & C:LAB Products video so you can see how the colour is perfect for me. A beautiful nude that doesn’t wash me out.
Have you tried these?
