Today I’m showing you the second, and last, Illamasqua nail polish I bought from The Bay: this is Creator.
I love dark nail polish, and I mean I LOVE dark nail polish, so I HAD to add this one to my cart when I place my order. Just look at it… *swoon*
If you do not like the square cap you can remove it to use the little round cap underneath. I have no issue using the square cap though, I find you get a good grip with it. The brush is the typical round brush and it works well.
Creator is described as a magical black and I have to agree! It’s a mostly opaque black base with mini mini square and rectangular silver glitters an very few irridescent hex glitters (I don’t have any on my nails but if you look closely at the bottle you will see one in the middle near the top – check out the last picture in this post). I find my pictures make it look like it’s a bit of a feathered effect, but in real life it does not look like that, it’s just beautiful sparkles.
Two coats are all that’s needed for full opacity with this polish, and I finished it off with a generous layer of top coat to get a nice smooth finish.
Can you spot that lonely hex glitter near the top of the bottle?
I bought this polish half price at The Bay for $8.50 CAD, but they only have one colour left and it’s not really my style (Peruzzi) otherwise I would have placed another order.
This is my third and last polish from Illamasqua and I’m sad that I don’t have more because their formula is amazing.
Have you tried their nail polish?
