I wash my hair twice a week if I’m lucky. 😛 Sometimes it’s only once, but twice is the goal. I love anything that can help my hair between my washes, so I was really happy to receive these products to try. Today we’ll be taking a look at the invisibobble SLIM hair rings and the UNIC Hair Perfume.
invisibobble SLIM
Can you believe I’ve never tried invisibobble before? I’ve tried other brands, but not this one. When the opportunity presented itself, I jumped at the chance to try these SLIM rings. I chose the colour Bronze Me Pretty. It’s more a golden bronze than the brown bronze that it appears to be online, but that’s ok.
Thanks to its spiral shape, the SLIM provides high wearing comfort. Since the SLIM hair tie does not soak, it is very hygienic, does not tangle and is gentle to the hair. Extra benefit: In case the invisibobble® begins to lose shape, pour hot water over it – this will shrink it to its original size.
I’m able to twist these around my hair three times and they hold great. My daughter has been loving them too.
These claim to be traceless meaning that they won’t leave a crease in your hair. I can’t really confirm that because of my wavy hair. If I tie it up, it shows. It doesn’t matter what I use; it will flatten out my waves.
The invisibobble SLIM hair rings come in six colours and they retail for $8 on ShopHali.com (currently on sale for $6). They only seem to carry five colours though. They are also available at Shoppers Drug Mart, Familiprix, London Drugs and select Pharmasave.
UNIC Hair Perfume
A hair perfume sounds really interesting. I use dry shampoo which adds a scent to my hair, but I don’t need to use it daily. So having a hair perfume for those days where I just want to refresh my hair’s smell is a great idea! I chose the scent sweet vanilla and OMG does it ever smell GOOD! It’s warm and sweet and yummy!

The pump works really well and it’s easy to hold with its two handles. Especially when I have it away from my head and I have it pointed towards me; it’s easy to use.
I really enjoy the scent and I like getting whiffs of it when I move my head. It’s not a product I could use if I went into the office because we have a no scent policy there. But at home, I’m here for it!

Final Thoughts
I have really been enjoying both these products and they’ve been great in between my washes.
I’ll be honest, I thought the invisibobble were more expensive than they are, like double digits $$. I’ll definitely be grabbing more. They have some rainbow-like colours and some kids ones too that I know my daughter will love. She’ll probably take mine anyway; she always takes my things, lol!
The UNIC Hair Perfume smells so good I want to use it as a body spray too! I don’t see why I couldn’t.
